American actor Christine Evangelista is currently best known for her starring role in the 2017 drama series The Arrangement, in which she played Megan Morrison West, an actor plucked from obscurity and offered a secret, multi-million-dollar contract to get engaged to a Hollywood heartthrob. In 2020, she began playing another major role, joining the cast of the multi-award-winning show Fear the Walking Dead as Sherry—a part she had previously played in sister-show The Walking Dead. Her big-screen roles include parts in The Intern, The Joneses, and Bleed for This.
A native New Yorker born on Staten Island, she studied acting at the Herbert Berghof Studio in Greenwich Village, a non-profit theatre school with hundreds of other famous alumni, including the likes of Bette Midler, Liza Minelli, and Al Pacino. Evangelista began her professional acting career with off-Broadway theatre roles and one-off parts in film and television. She made her screen debut in 2006, aged 19, with a part in an episode of Law & Order, a rite of passage for many aspiring American actors. Her first major role was playing Ashley Beck, the daughter of Tobin Bell’s character in The Kill Point, a TV drama series starring Donnie Wahlberg that spawned a spin-off computer game. In 2009, after appearing in several shorts, she made her major film debut in the 2009 romantic comedy The Good Guy.
During the 2010s, Evangelista’s profile continued to grow with roles in major films and television series. The Arrangement provided her with her first starring role, and her involvement with the Walking Dead franchise has brought her talents to a new audience.
