Clara Collie is a dedicated Nutrition Coach and Fitness Trainer, currently serving as the dietitian at Wellspring since January 2022. With over five years of experience as a clinical dietitian and nutrition manager at Haywood Regional Medical Center, Clara has made significant contributions to patient care through her expertise in nutrition counseling and education. Her role involved ensuring that patients’ nutritional needs were met both during their hospital stays and beyond, helping them adopt healthier eating habits to prevent and manage chronic conditions.
Clara’s time at Haywood reinforced her belief in the transformative power of nutrition on overall health and well-being. By guiding patients through personalized nutrition plans, she has witnessed firsthand the positive impact that informed dietary choices can have on individuals’ lives. Her passion for helping others achieve their health goals drives her approach as a coach and trainer.
Originally from Dalton, Georgia, Clara moved to the Asheville area in 2015 to complete her dietetic internship at Western Carolina University, following her graduation from the University of Georgia. At UGA, she earned a Bachelor of Science in Family and Consumer Sciences, majoring in dietetics and minoring in public health. In addition to her nutrition credentials, Clara is also a certified personal trainer through NASM and a certified nutrition coach through Precision Nutrition.
