After becoming a definitive figure in New York City’s vibrant Club Kids scene in the early 1990s, Amanda Lepore’s career significantly advanced through her pivotal collaboration with renowned photographer David LaChapelle. This partnership established her as a prominent model and icon in contemporary art and fashion, leading to appearances in high-profile works, national campaigns, and on the cover of Rolling Stone. Her early career also saw her working as a cosmetics salesgirl for Patricia Field, further cementing her influence in the fashion and beauty industries.
