Deena Nicole Buckner

American reality TV star Deena Nicole Buckner is best known for starring in MTV’s Jersey Shore and Jersey Shore: Family Vacation. Buckner starred on Jersey Shore from 2010 to 2012 and later joined the cast of Jersey Shore: Family Vacation in 2018, a series that followed housemates from the original Jersey Shore show as they holidayed in Miami together. A break-out star of the show, she has notched up an impressive 3.2 million followers on Instagram.

Hailing from Plumsted Township, New Jersey she excelled in cheerleading and dancing whilst at school. Buckner auditioned for the first series of the popular MTV reality show Jersey Shore but was initially rejected, however she was later cast by MTV when regular cast member Angelina Pivarnick left the show at the end of the second season. Popular cast member Snooki suggested Buckner joined the show as a replacement and she joined the cast in the third season, filming at New Jersey’s Seaside Heights. Buckner quickly became a fan favourite and later starred in Jersey Shore: Family Vacation in 2018.

Aside from the Jersey Shore franchise, Buckner has made frequent television appearances on shows including When I was 17, Celebrity Fear Factor, Celebrity Family Feud and Couples Therapy. Also a budding entrepreneur, Buckner has launched a successful family clothing business named after her son Christopher John which she founded after she found it hard to find cute matching outfits for mothers and baby boys.
