Dellacoma rio

Hard-rocking and hard-working Dellacoma Rio is an Australian musician, performer, and actor who is currently enjoying success as the frontman of Dellacoma whose second album, Blood, was released in summer 2021. In 2020, the band also released ‘Kill Your Idols’, a single featuring American rock icon Tracii Guns of L.A. Guns. The group’s most successful tracks to date have included ‘Movin’ On to Something New’, ‘Time Falls Away’, and ‘Adrenaline’, which have notched up hundreds of thousands of streams and downloads between them.

Away from music, Rio is an actor whose work encompasses the television and the theatre on both sides of the Pacific Ocean. He appeared as a featured extra in the likes of The OC, Criminal Minds, and Cold Case in America and has been a regular featured extra in the legendary Aussie soap, Neighbours. He has also been a contestant on the MTV reality dating shows Next and My Own. In theatre, he has played leads in several productions in Australia and Los Angeles, including various Shakespeare plays. He has also appeared in an assortment of major ad campaigns for brands like Kia.

In 2019, Rio got his first leading film role in an independent movie called The Dealer. Production was delayed, like everything else in the world, because of the pandemic but when finally released it will add another string to this versatile performer’s bow.
