Demi Bagby is a widely renowned fitness influencer and CrossFit athlete. Bagby joined a cheerleading squad with no experience and wanted to be with her friends in the higher group, she was permitted to take part in a more advanced class but only if she acquired the skills before the competition. Unfortunately, she broke her back in practice and it took a full year for her to recover. It took a lot of determination for her to come back from injury. Bagby was only 14 when out with her mother she saw a sign for CrossFit, upon visiting the gym she joined up instantly in the hope that it would help her recover.
Bagby is now phenomenally popular on social media, boasting over 2.2 million followers on Instagram. She has inspired many others round the world with her determination and progress. As a CrossFit athlete, she started to do strength exercises with weights to build up her physique in bodybuilding. As she was recovering from a broken back, it was not always easy to do some exercises but she showed great perseverance in making progress. In 2016, Bagby ranked 23rd in the world in her age group. She is a huge influence on others saying “Strive to be the best version of you. You are limitless.” She does a variety of sports to keep in shape with CrossFit, this includes calisthenics, acrobatics, yoga, lifting and surfing and she is passionate about healthy eating and nutrition.
