A familiar face to anyone that calls themselves a serious fan of television, Dule Hill is a well-known American actor from the state of New Jersey. Hill is perhaps best known for his portrayal of the beloved character Charlie Hill in the seminal television show The West Wing. This would be the role that would be that would pave the way for Hill’s future successes, however Hill actually got his first big break in 1985 at the age of 10. Putting his classical ballet and tap dance training to good use for the MDA telethon, Hill performed memorable routines alongside Jerry Lewis.
Hill has since played a number of roles in a variety of beloved films and TV shows including She’s All That, Ballers, The Guardian, Holes and Suits. The success of his portrayal of government aide to Martin Sheen’s president, for which Hill received an Emmy nomination for Outstanding Supporting Actor in a Drama series. No stranger to lead roles, Hill also won over a legion of fans for his stint as Gus on the beloved comedy show Psych. Hill’s talents have also extended to the theatre world as the actor has enjoyed several Broadway successes in which he showcased his trademark dancing skills.
