Francois Chau is a widely recognised Cambodian American actor who is known for his role as Dr. Pierre Chang in ABC’s ‘Lost’, a popular American television drama series that followed the survivors of a jet airliner. Chau played the role of Dr. Chang in the film 21 & Over and took on the role of the industrialist Jules-Pierre Mao in The Expanse.
Born in Cambodia, Chau and his family moved to France when he was seven years old and after a year they moved to Washington D.C. Chau moved to LA after graduating from college and has played a number of diverse roles, notably Dr. Martin Ng in the television series, ‘Gemini Division’ and Dr. Pierre Chang in ABC’s ‘Lost’.
Chau has appeared in a number of television show, namely ‘24’, ‘Stargate SG-1’, ‘G.I. Joe: S Real American Hero’, ‘XCOM:Enemy Unknown’ and more.
Chau also featured in Chris Brown’s music video, Fine China and in many television shows such as ‘Criminal Minds’, ‘Grey’s Anatomy’, ‘The X-Files’, ‘NCIS’ and more. In recent years, he has worked on many projects including ‘The Expanse’ where he stars as Jules-Pierre Mao, ‘The Tick’ and ‘K.C. Undercover’, where he plays the role of Zane. Chau plays the role of Mr. Keo in a live action DC adaption of Birds of Prey, which stars Margot Robbie. In 2011, Chau was nominated for an Ovation Award for Featured Actor.
