Frances Callier and Angela V. Shelton are Frangela, an iconic comedic duo that originally joined forces at The Second City in Chicago. The two have since appeared on numerous networks including VH1, NBC, CNN, and Hulu.
Frances Callier is originally from Chicago and has a decorated acting career with appearances in The Cleveland Show, The League, and Curb Your Enthusiasm. Angela Shelton is from Detroit and also has a decorated acting career across numerous films and television series. The two first met as cast members at The Second City and have performed comedy together ever since.
Known together as Frangela, the two have written their own pilot for FOX titled Frances and Angela. They also wrote pilots for Disney Channel and Showtime and both starred in and wrote the award-winning show Hey Monie. They have hosted their own shows such as The Week According to Frangela on KLTK and recently self-produced their daytime talk show Me Time with Frangela.
They frequently appeared on VH1’s Best Week Ever, NPR’s Day to Day, and FOX’s Red Eye with Greg Gutfeld. Additionally, they have appeared in I’m a Celebrity…Get Me Out of Here, The Today Show, Showbiz Tonight, and NBC’s Bring The Funny. Also appearing in films like He’s Just Not That Into You, they often tour the country as a stand-up act.
