Gabby B is a Brazilian singer who first found fame on TikTok but has quickly grown to become one of pop music’s hottest new properties. Since 2019, she has been dropping a steady stream of tracks, the most successful of which have included the likes of ‘Belly Dancer’, ‘Til The Sun Turns Up’, and ‘Venha E Pegue’. She has an astounding 3 million followers on TikTok and her first 100 videos on the platform have been liked a total of 28.2 million times — a figure that is constantly rising. She also has close to 11,000 YouTube subscribers, and her music videos on there gather hundreds of thousands of streams within days of being uploaded.
Gabby B had a very international upbringing. Born in Brazil in 2000, she moved to France with her family when she was three but subsequently moved to the United States aged nine, and it’s there where she has settled and taken citizenship. Even after moving to America, she moved around, taking in Boston, South Carolina, and even a short stay over the border in Canada before eventually settling down in Florida. During this time she began amassing a collection of Barbie dolls (she now has over 300) and eventually began uploading videos of herself dancing onto TikTok. Her dancing style caught fire and songs soon followed.
Today, Gabby B is the consummate 21st century artist: independent, international, and all-embracing.
