Since establishing roots in the USA with her family, Lee has discovered a profound love for the sport, showcasing her prowess in short track events across the nation. Training diligently with the Puget Sound Speedskating Club in Tacoma, Lee draws inspiration from her peers, propelling herself to take on the most significant challenges in the sport just as speedskating gears up for the Beijing Olympics.
In a standout performance at the American Cup in Wisconsin, Lee not only demonstrated unwavering commitment but also exhibited remarkable skill, securing the Junior D Ladies title in a commanding race on the ice. Competing alongside some of the sport’s luminaries, Lee held her own in one of her most substantial competitions to date. Renowned for her versatility, she competes fiercely in both long and short track events, amassing an impressive haul of four golds and a silver at the 2019 US National Age Class Long Track Championship. In the Short Track leg of the Championships, Lee clinched three golds and one silver, showcasing her prowess in both disciplines.
