With regular roles in US network TV shows and Hollywood movies, actress Halston Sage is a rising star. Sage had her mainstream breakthrough on the Nickelodeon series How to Rock in 2012, before landing a role on the NBC action-drama Crisis, starring Dermot Mulroney and Rachel Taylor, in 2014. Sage was cast in the role of Amber, the daughter of Meg Fitch, who was played by X-Files legend Gillian Anderson. 2015 saw Sage appear in the coming-of-age romcom Paper Towns, based on novel by John Green, author of the wildly popular young adult novel The Fault in Our Stars. From 2017 to 2019, Sage played Lieutenant Alara Kitan on the Fox sci-fi dramedy The Orville starring Seth McFarlane, creator of the animated comedy monster hit Family Guy.
Since 2019, Sage has been a regular cast member on the Fox crime drama series Prodigal Son, alongside stars including Tom Payne, Lou Diamond Phillips, Michael Sheen and Catherine Zeta-Jones. Sages plays Ainsley Whitly, an up-and-coming young journalist who is also the daughter of a notorious serial killer. In 2021, Sage was the subject of both an ‘It Girl’ feature article in the fashion and society magazine Los Angeles Confidential and a cover story in The Bare Magazine, a publication based in New York and Philadelphia which prides itself on conducting ‘interesting, raw interviews’. Sage is active on Instagram @halstonsage, where she boasts over 690,000 followers.
