Annie Bosko is a Croatian-American singer-songwriter who has been releasing popular singles since 2014, including the likes of ‘Crooked Halo’ and ‘Complicated’, which have been streamed millions of times. She has been cited leading music magazine Rolling Stone as an artist to watch, drawn comparisons with the likes of Sheryl Crow, and once performed to an audience of 300,000 people at Nashville’s Independence Day celebrations. She has shared the stage with the world-conquering likes of Andrea Bocelli and Adele, and Bruce Springsteen once told her, “you rock!” after watching one of her shows. As well as having success with her own recordings, her songs have also been recorded by major figures such as Willie Nelson, Jessica Simpson, and Marie Osmond.
Bosko first showed a passion and talent for music from a very young age, growing up inspired by the likes of Patsy Cline, The Beatles, Beach Boys, Whitney Houston, and Celine Dion. Aged 14, she landed her first job as a professional musician, working for Disney. Aged 19, she relocated from her family home to Nashville, hoping to make it in the tough world of country music. She also entered American Idol in 2009, making it to the top 36. However, she kept going, building her following through support slots for the likes of Pat Benatar, Kid Rock, Martina McBride, and many more.
Bosko released her debut single, ‘When Will I Be Loved’ in 2014. Since then, she has released nearly two dozen singles, including covers of track such as ‘Desperado’ and ‘Blue Christmas’, as well as beautifully written and sung originals such as ‘Heart to Call Home’.
