Happy Corbin

Thomas Pestock, better known by his ring names Baron Corbin and Happy Corbin, is a well-known American professional wrestler and former professional football player. Born on September 13, 1984, in Lenexa, Kansas, Pestock has always had a passion for sports and athleticism, which led him to pursue a career in football before transitioning to professional wrestling.

Pestock’s football career began in high school, where he played as an offensive lineman at Rockhurst High School. He later attended Northwest Missouri State University, where he played for the Northwest Missouri State Bearcats football team as an offensive guard. After college, Pestock signed with the Indianapolis Colts as a free agent in 2009 before being released a few months later. He joined the Arizona Cardinals for a brief period before ending his football career in 2010.

In 2012, Pestock was recruited by WWE, where he was assigned to their developmental branch, NXT. He made his official wrestling debut in December 2014 under the ring name Baron Corbin. He quickly rose to fame due to his imposing stature, intimidating demeanor, and devastating finishing moves, such as the End of Days. He continued to dominate in the ring, winning titles such as the Andre the Giant Memorial Battle Royal in 2016 and the King of the Ring tournament in 2019.

In 2021, Pestock adopted the new ring name Happy Corbin after his character underwent a dramatic personality change, becoming a cheerful and jovial character. He continues to compete in WWE and is a fan favorite, known for his entertaining promos and ability to hold the audience’s attention. Off the ring, Pestock is a philanthropist, supporting various charities and hosting events to raise awareness for causes close to his heart.
