Powerlifter Tom “Huck” Finn enjoys pro wrestling, country music, beer, and, above all, powerlifting. His best total, according to openpowerlifting.org, is 2028.2 pounds from a 2015 competition where he did a 518-pound bench, an 804-pound squat, and a 704-pound deadlift. He would hit 744 pounds two years later. The Instagram famous powerlifter does the wackiest, wildest stuns imaginable. Bench pushing three plates while getting waterboarded with beer and moonshine, bench pressing two people simultaneously, and deadlifting while skating – you name it, he’s done it, and the wilder the notion, the more likely he is to realise it.
Finn appeared in the October 2018 issue of Muscle & Fitness Magazine. In the same year, he established Huck Finn Barbell Apparel, a brand which purports to be the craziest apparel company this side of the Mississippi River, offering quality clothing printed with awesome designs. All of the apparel is created by Tom and Karen Finn, and can be found online and at conventions throughout the United States.
In 2019, Finn bench pressed 500 pounds while lying on shattered glass and listening to Hulk Hogan’s theme tune, “Real American,” and he did it without a shirt on. Because of his size and rare ability to carry heavy weights, Finn can get away with performing some of the craziest stunts any powerlifter would dream of. You can follow him @huckfinnbarbell on Instagram, where he boasts more than 160,000 followers.
