Jaime Lorente

Jaime Lorente López was born on December 12, 1991, in Murcia, Spain. He pursued his education in Dramatic Art at The Superior School of Dramatic Art of Murcia and holds a master’s degree in advanced studies from the UNIR in Logroño, Spain. His early career saw him engaged in theatre productions, including ‘Equus,’ for which he received the Best Actor Award at the first edition of the María Jesús Sirvent Awards. Other notable theatre performances include ‘El público,’ ‘La vengadora de las mujeres,’ ‘El secreto a voces,’ and ‘De fuera vendrá,’ some of which toured American countries.

In 2016, Lorente transitioned to television with a role as Elías Mato in the Antena 3 series ‘El secreto de Puente Viejo.’ His career gained significant momentum in 2017 with his portrayal of Daniel ‘Denver’ Ramos in the acclaimed TV series ‘Money Heist,’ a role that earned him a nomination for ‘Best Supporting Actor on Television’ by the Spanish Actors Union. Following this, he took on the role of Fernando ‘Nano’ García Domínguez in the Netflix Original Series ‘Elite’ from 2018 to 2019. His film credits include ‘Everybody Knows’ (2018), ‘Gun City’ (2018), and ‘Who Would You Take to a Deserted Island?’ (2019).

Lorente continued to expand his repertoire, starring as Castilian knight and warlord Rodrigo Díaz de Vivar ‘El Cid’ in the historical Amazon Prime Video series ‘El Cid’ from 2020 to 2021. In 2022, he played Pedro García Aguado in ‘The Final Game’ and in 2023, he appeared as Adolfo in ‘Tin & Tina.’ His recent projects include ‘Untameable’ (2023) as Ángel Cristo and ‘Iron Reign’ (2024) portraying Néstor. In 2024, he also took on the role of Xavi Font in ‘Disco, Ibiza, Locomía’. Beyond acting, Lorente has also published a poetry collection titled ‘A propósito de tu boca’ and released his first EP, ‘La noche,’ in 2022. He is also preparing for his directorial debut with the film ‘El mal hijo,’ which he will also write, set to begin filming in 2025.
