Amar Baharin

Amar bin Mohd Baharin, born on July 1, 1985, in Kajang, Selangor, Malaysia, embarked on his journey in the entertainment industry as a part-time model. Holding a degree in Electrical Engineering from Universiti Teknologi MARA (UiTM), he shifted his focus to acting. His professional acting career began in 2008 with a small role in the drama series “Sofea Zahra.” In 2009, he gained further recognition by participating in the reality TV program “Anak Wayang” and subsequently appearing in the series “Kau dan Aku.”

Baharin’s roles in projects like “Tanda Putera” (2013), where he portrayed Tengku Razaleigh Hamzah, and “Suamiku Encik Sotong” (2014) broadened his audience reach and showcased his ability to handle diverse genres. His career gained significant momentum with his leading role as Tajul Razin in the popular TV3 drama “Kerana Terpaksa Aku Relakan” (2014). This role solidified his reputation as a prominent actor, recognized often for romantic leads and husband roles in many of his projects.

Throughout his career, Amar Baharin has consistently appeared in various television dramas, telefilms, and theatrical productions. Notable works include “Khurafat The Series” (2011), “Cik Bunga Encik Sombong” (2015), “Tersuka Tanpa Sengaja” (2015) alongside his now-wife Amyra Rosli, and “Hati Yang Dikhianati” (2021). His recent work includes the film “Seratus” (2022) and the drama “Bukan Puteri Lindungan Bulan” (2023), continuing to demonstrate his acting capabilities to a wide audience.
