The talented artist Jallaluddin Mohammad Malik, who is better known by his stage name Jallal, is a rapper, actor, and entrepreneur. He founded the clothing brand Seviin in 2015, and in 2017 he was signed as a spokesman for the American luxury menswear accessories brand William.
Born and raised in Los Angeles, Jallal first hit the music scene after he released his debut mixtape, Semi-Casual Love, in 2011. But it was when he dropped his second mixtape, Unwilling Fortay, in 2013 that his name became known. The mixtape caught the attention of Mos Def, who has since served as a mentor to Jallal, and he went on to open for Mos Def on a number of his live shows during 2013. Since then Jallal has been recording and releasing music to an ever-growing fanbase.
Jallal regularly connects with his hundreds of thousands of followers and admirers through Instagram, and Twitter, posting pictures and videos of his life both in and out of the recording studio. He is also available for that personalised shout-out via the Cameo platform.
