Jamie Deen

Jamie Deen is an American television personality and chef, recognized for his work alongside his mother, Paula Deen, and his brother, Bobby Deen. Born James A. Deen in 1967 in Albany, Georgia, Jamie’s early life was influenced by his mother’s passion for Southern cooking. After his parents’ divorce in 1989, Jamie and his brother Bobby assisted their mother in her catering business, ‘The Bag Lady,’ by delivering lunches to local office workers. This early involvement in the food industry laid the groundwork for his future career.

His career officially began with the establishment of The Lady & Sons restaurant in Savannah, Georgia. Initially opened in a Best Western hotel, the restaurant, founded with his mother and brother, quickly gained popularity for its traditional Southern fare. Jamie’s role extended beyond the restaurant, venturing into television with appearances on ‘Road Tasted’ from 2006 to 2007, where he showcased various food destinations.
