Jeffrey Nicholas Brown is an American actor. He is known for his role as Jake Hart in the comedy series “Henry Danger,” which aired on Nickelodeon. Brown also played Corbett Stackhouse, father of the protagonist, Sookie Stackhouse, on the HBO series True Blood, which was an instant hit when it premiered in 2008, averaging 5 million same-day viewers per episode. Brown is perhaps most famous for a role in which his face cannot even be distinguished since he performed as a “Blue Man,” where the actors were painted blue, always appeared in groups of three, and were mute during the performances. Brown was a member of the opening cast of the “Blue Man Group Las Vegas,” with the largest ever recorded audience.
As both of Brown’s parents were music teachers, his interest in performing started at a young age where he learned instruments like the violin and the drums. Brown has been known to play drums for various bands and artists. His professional debut was at age 12 in the world premiere of “The Grapes of Wrath” at the famed Steppenwolf Theatre in Chicago. He was an active member of the improv troupe at The Second City which has produced some of the most famous names in comedy.
Brown still performs with the Blue Men when they are touring in shows on a part-time basis all over the world. You can check him out on his Instagram where he boasts over 150 thousand followers. He can be found writing pilots to pitch to networks and auditioning for roles in his spare time. During the Covid-19 pandemic, he has lent his talent to others by teaching the drums outside or via Zoom.
