Jen Brown

Jen Brown has an acting career that began in her teenage years. She co-founded The Vestige Group, an Austin-based theatre company, in 2005. As Co-Artistic Director, she acted in and directed numerous award-nominated productions while also contributing as a sound and costume designer. Her early career in theater provided a foundation for her later work in various media.

Following her focus on voice acting, film, and television in 2007, Jen Brown secured the role of Agent Carolina in Rooster Teeth’s web series, Red Vs. Blue, appearing in 100 episodes from 2011 to 2020. She also voiced Pyrrha Nikos and Lisa Lavender in the animated series RWBY, with 30 episodes between 2013 and 2023. Other notable voice acting roles include Ered in Camp Camp (45 episodes, 2016–2024) and Pyrrha Nikos in RWBY Chibi (26 episodes, 2016–2023). She has also contributed her voice to video games such as DC Universe Online, where she voices characters including Harley Quinn, Lashina, and Artemis.

In addition to her voice work, Jen Brown co-created and wrote for the 2020 El Rey TV show Genre Graveyard, which was inspired by her podcast, Women In Caskets, part of the Bloody Disgusting Network. Her film acting credits include roles in projects such as “Cutter” (2021) and “Pendulum” (2023). She also established Brown Recluse Films in 2016, a horror production company. Jen Brown has a diverse portfolio spanning acting, voice acting, writing, and production.
