Joe Anglim was a fan-favorite on CBS’s Survivor, leading the network to bring him back for three seasons, including Survivor: Second Chances.
Born and raised in Arizona, Anglim was a gifted athlete from a very young age. Not only was he the basketball star of his high school team, helping them become state champions, but he was also successful at indoor-volleyball, reaching the national finals with his self-funded and self-coached team at Northern Arizona University. During his downtime from his sports teams, Anglim stayed active with hobbies like camping, climbing, hiking, and hunting, which made him a natural candidate for Survivor.
One of Anglim’s more notable seasons was his Survivor debut: during Survivor: Worlds Apart back in 2014, he met fellow Survivor talent, Sierra Dawn. Although she ended up voting Anglim off the show, the two began dating soon after, and in 2019, they got married. Since then, they’ve grown into prominent social media influencers: Anglim posts snippets of his life for over 138K adoring Instagram followers.
After his success on Survivor, CBS offered Anglim a few more guest-spots on popular game shows, including Candy Crush and the Survivor special of The Price is Right—for the latter, Anglim won the game. Additionally, he’s used his heightened fame to spotlight his art: Anglim founded “Artfulness Productions,” where he sells his own art and offers coaching and workshop services.
