The incredible sportsman Joe Crede is a former professional baseball third baseman, who most famously played in the MLB for the Chicago White Sox. He is also a 2005 World Series Champion, and a Silver Slugger Award-winner.
Born and raised in Missouri, Crede was a natural on the baseball diamond throughout his High School and college years, and turned professional when he was drafted by the White Sox in the 5th round of the 1996 amateur draft. He made his debut with the team in 2000. Five years later, he helped the White Sox to victory in the 2005 World Series, marking the side’s first championship in 88 years. The following year he won the Silver Slugger Award, and in 2008 was named an All-Star. He left the White Sox and signed a contract with the Minnesota Twins prior to the 2009 season. By September, though, he had to undergo a third season-ending back surgery. He signed a minor league contract with the Colorado Rockies after a year out of the game, but became a free agent in February 2017 and then retired.
Crede doesn’t currently connect with his huge fanbase through social media, but he is available for that personalised shout-out via the Cameo platform.
