Actor, comedian and television producer John Lehr is known for his roles on comedy show Quick Draw and 10 Items or Less.
Lehr attended Northwestern University, joining the improvisation troupe Mee-Ow while he was there. After a few years as a teacher, he realised comedy was where his passion lies, and he started to land small roles in films such as The Sweetest Thing. He wrote and starred in his own one-man stand-up show, The Lehr Curse: A Series of Comedic Lectures, which he performed Off Broadway throughout 2004. 2006 saw the premiere of 10 Items or Less, which Lehr is the co-creator, writer and executive producer of, as well as starring in the show. The show was renewed for two more seasons in 2008 and 2010, before the multi-talented actor created another series, this time web show Jailbait. The improvised comedy show aired on Crackle.com, and in 2013 Lehr once again produced and starred in comedy programme Quick Draw. The show proved popular, and was renewed for a second season the following year. His most recent venture is The Loop, a new show which follows the ups and downs of a couple as they set off to sail around the world.
This seasoned comedy writer is known as one of the best on the scene today, and continues to entertain audiences around the world. Lehr has proved himself as a talented writer and performer, and is rumoured to be working on some exciting new projects.
