Jonathan Daniel Brown established himself in the film industry through a combination of acting roles and production work. He gained early recognition for his acting performance as J.B. in the 2012 film “Project X,” which achieved a worldwide gross of $102.7 million against a budget of $12 million. This role was a significant milestone, launching his career into mainstream attention. Following “Project X,” Brown continued to expand his acting repertoire, appearing in various projects including “Bad Milo” (2013), “Kid Cannabis” (2014), and a recurring role in the TV series “Threads” (2017).
In addition to acting, Brown has also ventured into production and writing. He served as an executive producer for multiple short films, such as “Horseshoe Theory” (2017) and “Hala” (2016), and as a producer for “La Vie de Merde” (2017), a project he also co-wrote. His production credits include larger projects such as “Coup!” (2023), “On a String” (2025), “Terrestrial” (2025) and “Fuck My Son!” (2025), demonstrating a consistent career progression in film creation beyond acting.
