Kevin Brady Dillon was born on August 19, 1965, in New Rochelle, New York, and raised in Mamaroneck, New York. He is the son of Mary Ellen, a homemaker, and Paul Dillon, a portrait painter and sales manager. Dillon is also the brother of actor Matt Dillon. He began his acting career in the 1980s, gaining early recognition for his role as the bully Rooney in the 1985 film “Heaven Help Us.” This was followed by a pivotal role as the psychopathic soldier Bunny in Oliver Stone’s 1986 film “Platoon,” a performance that brought him wider attention in the industry.
