The candid, confident and kooky Kristie Bennett is best known for being the sole survivor of, and the first woman to win, the reality TV challenge show, Australian Survivor 2016. In 2020 she was inducted into the Australian Survivor Hall of Fame. She is also a strong advocate for promoting mental health, and spends her time travelling around the world.
Bennett lives in Sydney, and before she made a name for herself on network television, she worked as a senior account executive. She likes meeting new people, studying cognitive psychology and behavioural change and “getting up to mischief” in her spare time. In preparation for her time on the island, Bennett upped her exercise routine and started yoga and meditation to help her handle the fast pace and strategic game play. After winning Survivor at the age of 24, she didn’t want to return to her old life, and set out to be a motivational facilitator, to help people find a way if they have a dream or a goal.
Bennett regularly connects with her legions of fans and dedicated followers through Instagram and Twitter. She also has her own YouTube channel, Kristie Bennett, and is available for that personalised shout-out via the Cameo platform.
