Lara Trump

Lara Lea Yunaska, born on October 12, 1982, in New Hanover, North Carolina, pursued an education in communications, earning a Bachelor of Arts degree from North Carolina State University. She also studied at the French Culinary Institute in New York, further diversifying her skill set. Early in her career, from 2012 to 2016, she worked in television as a story coordinator and producer for the news magazine *Inside Edition*.

Her involvement in politics began to significantly increase with Donald Trump’s 2016 presidential campaign, where she served as a liaison for the Trump-Pence Women’s Empowerment Tour. Following the election, she continued her political engagement, becoming an online producer and fundraiser for Donald Trump, and later a senior consultant for his 2020 reelection campaign. During this period, she also hosted *Real News Update* for Trump Productions and debuted her show *My View with Lara Trump* in 2025 on the Fox News Channel.

Lara Trump’s career also includes a tenure as a paid contributor for Fox News from March 2021 to December 2022. She was elected co-chair of the Republican National Committee on March 8, 2024, a position she held until December 9, 2024, when she resigned amidst speculation of a potential US Senate appointment. In her personal life, she married Eric Trump on November 8, 2014, and they have two children. In 2023 and 2024, she also released several music singles.
