With over 4 million subscribers and more than 1 billion video views in less than five years, Californian Leah Ashe has certainly established herself as a YouTube star. She can also boast nearly 3 million fans and 32 million likes on TikTok, over 300,000 Twitter followers and 580,000 Instagram fans. Roblox is an American gaming platform that allows users to create their own games and play those made by other users. At least half of American children under-16 are registered users, making it an incredibly large market, one that Ashe has conquered with her friendly, relatable content. She uploaded her first YouTube videos in 2016, and focused initially on game likes Grand Theft Auto V and videos that involved her and her friends doing dares. Roblox games were an occasional feature until a watershed moment in 2018 when Ashe uploaded a video in which she transformed herself from a regular brunette girl into the real-life version of her pink-haired, pink-clothed Roblox character, a look she has maintained ever since as Roblox roleplay games and vlogs have come to dominate her output.
