In a world full of uncertainty, darkness, and unreasonable expectations, body positive blogger Ady Meschke is a breath of fresh air and a ray of sunshine to us all. Not surprisingly her social media following currently stands at 219K as more and more people from around the world want to soak in her warm, self-love vibes and learn how to be a little more like her. Luckily Ady is all about giving back to the people and ensuring that everyone out there has the chance to learn how to love and accept themself, and lead an exciting, fulfilling life just like she gets to do every day for her job as a travel blogger.
However it wasn’t always smooth sailing for Ady, battling through body image issues as a young girl and well into adulthood. It is for this reason that she has such a passion for helping others get through the same thing, and especially for teaching the next generation of young girls to love their bodies from an early age before the biases of society set in. Her bestselling children’s book, Her Body Can, was released in 2020 to rousing reviews. It is a body positive book aimed at children eight and younger, co-written with her fellow Atlanta-based blogger Katie Crenshaw.
Ady is perhaps best known for her Verbal Gold Blog, which started off as a bestie blog designed to include and connect people from all over; the US, UK, Australia and Ireland. It has now grown to a wonderful place to document Ady’s travel, family, tips and entrepreneurship. The blogger hopes to inspire people to adventure out of their comfort zone and explore the world so that they can then in turn explore themselves. The supermom also owns a body-inclusive activewear company called Zions Den Apparel, which has been featured in Shape and on The Today Show.
