Argentinian heartthrob Leo Deluglio is currently best known for playing Iker Borges in the hit Nikelodeon telenova Vikki RPM, a role that won him an award at the 2017 Kids’ Choice Awards Argentina. He also won acclaim from an older audience playing Diego Padilla in the hit telenova La Dona, which was voted Best Series at the 2017 Your World Awards and was commissioned for a second season in 2020. Having conquered these two worlds, he upped the ante again in 2021 when the role of Young Alex Joven in the hit Netflix thriller series Who Killed Sara? took his profile international.
Deluglio was born in Buenos Aires in 1990. Deluglio got his first break in 2008, playing Viny in the second series of kid’s comedy show Patito Feo (Ugly Duckling), a huge Disney Channel hit across South America. He followed this up with recurring roles in other successful teens shows such as Champs 12 and Cuano toca la campana (When the Bell Rings). In 2016, he joined the cast of La Dona, a major American-made adaptation of the classic Venezuelan novel Dona Barbara. The show was a huge success, but it was with his next project, 2017’s Vikki RPM, that Deluglio secured his first leading role. The show was based around a young girl, Vikki Franco, who dreams of becoming a Formula 1 driver. It was a hit with young audiences and helped to raise Deluglio’s profile.
With the recent success of Who Killed Sara? bringing many accomplished Latino actors to an American audience, Deluglio’s future is looking as bright as his past.
