Lisa Appleton, born in 1968 in England, UK, rose to prominence in 2008 as a contestant on Big Brother 9. Her participation in the reality television series brought her into the public eye, where she remained for 86 days before her eviction in Week 12. Following her departure from Big Brother, Appleton continued to appear in television productions, contributing to her profile as a reality television personality. Her early career prior to Big Brother involved working as a sales representative in a tanning salon.

Appleton’s television work includes appearances as ‘Self’ in several notable programs. In 2008, she featured in an episode of “8 Out of 10 Cats” and was part of the cast for “CelebAir.” She returned to the Big Brother franchise in 2010 for “Ultimate Big Brother,” appearing in two episodes.
