Lisa ‘Longball’ Vlooswyk is a widely renowned Canadian professional Golfer, who is best known for being an 8-time Canadian Long Drive National Champion for women. Vlooswyk currently holds the Canadian Women’s Long Drive record, achieving 350 yards 2 feet and 2 inches in distance. At the height of her career she places in the Top 5 at the 2016 World Long Drive Championships, and is an LDA Tour Champion.
Vlooswyk is passionate about women’s golf and female athletes in general, she is a Callaway Gold sponsored athlete and has also founded the Lisa Longball Golf School for Women, which has enjoyed great success in both Canada and the USA. A highly sought after speaker, Vlooswyk has spoken to large and small audiences, near and far. She empowers and inspires people at many conferences and conventions at numerous and is a golf entertainer at many events including the PGA Tour and Champions Tour.
Vlooswyk is a Golf journalist and has written for many popular publications, namely Inside Golf Magazine and Golf Digest Canada, which she writes her own column for. She holds many records and has won many awards throughout her career, including the BMO Celebrating Women Award and the Inspire Action Award, amongst others.
