Lisa Marie Varon

Lisa Marie Varon, known in the wrestling world as Victoria and Tara, transitioned from a successful fitness competitor and bodybuilder into a highly decorated professional wrestler, capturing women’s championships in both WWE and TNA. After winning ESPN2’s Fitness America Series in 1997, Lisa Marie Varon went on to secure her International Federation of BodyBuilders (IFBB) Professional Fitness Card in 1999 following a second-place finish at the NPC Team Universe show in New York City. Varon transitioned her competitive drive into professional wrestling, beginning her training in 2000 with Ultimate Pro Wrestling (UPW) and later WWF developmental territories. Making her on-screen WWF debut, she quickly adopted the ring name Victoria and joined the main roster of WWE in 2002.

She also added the TNA Knockouts Tag Team Championship to her accolades in 2011, alongside her partner Brooke Tessmacher. After concluding her run with TNA in 2013, Varon remained active on the independent circuit, continuing to perform for fans globally. In 2021, she made a highly anticipated one-night return to WWE for the Royal Rumble, and later that year, the WWE Network recognized her by including her in their prestigious list of the top 50 female wrestlers. In 2024, Lisa Marie Varon was inducted into the esteemed Women’s Wrestling Hall of Fame, further acknowledging her profound impact on the sport.

Solidifying her enduring legacy, Varon announced in August 2024 that she had signed a WWE Legends contract, a testament to her indelible mark on the industry and allowing for her likeness to be used in official merchandise. Her signature finishing move, the ‘Widow’s Peak,’ remains one of the most iconic maneuvers in professional wrestling history, celebrated by fans worldwide.
