Lost Pause AKA Noble is an American YouTube personality best known for his anime-themed content on YouTube. However, he has built an enormous following across just about every social media platform imaginable, with more than 600,000 followers on Twitter and Twitch adding to the 1.6 million subscribers he enjoys across his two YouTube channels. In the 10 years he has been on YouTube, his content has been viewed more than 570 million times, which is an amazing achievement.
Lost Pause was born in March 1988 and first joined YouTube in late 2013. He quickly became known for his enthusiastic let’s-play videos of various anime games, but he also began making more general comedy content based around “don’t laugh” challenges and reaction videos. Things took a more serious turn in 2018 when he made a video criticising fellow YouTuber’s Logan Paul’s infamous and highly controversial video of someone who had committed suicide. In the video, Lost Pause shared something of his own family’s backstory and struggles with depression. Paul ended up deleting his tasteless video, whilst Lost Pause’s remains one of the most-watched on his channel.
Today, Lost Pause remains something of a figurehead in the world anime community. As well as videos that rack up millions of views very quickly, his anime-related tweets will also often go viral and spark plenty of discussion about new releases and the like. His comedy content, which he claims makes him cringe, also shows that he keeps in touch with his fun side, which is highly important in the sometimes negative world of social media.
