Mariya Shkolna

Mariya Shkolna, a remarkable Luxembourgian archer of Ukrainian descent, has left an indelible mark on the global stage of compound archery. Mariya’s journey in archery began in 2009, swiftly progressing to represent the Ukrainian national team in 2010. As a right-handed archer with a formidable draw weight of 59 lbs, Mariya demonstrated unparalleled skill and determination from the outset.

A defining moment in Mariya’s career came in 2015 when she was a pivotal member of the Ukrainian women’s team that secured the first-ever medal in compound archery and the inaugural gold medal for Ukraine at the World Archery Championships. In 2017, Mariya transitioned to represent Poland, showcasing her versatility on the international stage. Her presence was felt at the 2017 World Games and the 2017 Summer Universiade, where she proudly competed for Team Poland.
