Marsha Lisa Thomason is a British television and film actress who is best known for playing the role of Naomi Dorrit on the ABC series Lost, along with various other roles.
Thomason first came to British television in the fifth series of Pie in the Sky in 1997 playing the waitress, Sally, in eight episodes. She went on to appear in Playing the Field and Where the Heart Is as well as in the first series of the BBC Three drama Burn It in 2003. Over in American, she had appeared in The Haunted Mansion on Disney opposite Eddie Murphy. This role caused her career to snow ball and lead her to play Brandy in the film My Baby’s Daddy and Victoria in Black Knight. She starred in the U.S. television series Las Vegas as Nessa Holt in seasons one and two – totalling 47 episodes. In 2008, Thomason was cast as a series regular in the CW show Easy Money. After appearing in the first episode for White Collar as agent Diana Barrigan – along side Matt Bomer, she returned for the first-season finale. It was announced that she would appear on the series full-time in the second season. Thomason then starred in one of her most recognisable roles, that of Naomi Dorrit on the hit television show Lost.
From a small area in Manchester, UK, her acting career has taken her around the world doing what she does best – she now resides in Malibu, California.
