Matthew Nable has transitioned from a professional rugby league player to an acclaimed actor, writer, and director, known for his impactful performances across film and television. After making his critically acclaimed debut as a writer and actor with the 2007 film ‘The Final Winter,’ Matthew Nable went on to establish himself as a versatile talent across film and television. His initial foray into the creative arts was encouraged by author Thomas Keneally, leading him to pen the screenplay for ‘The Final Winter,’ based on his own unpublished novel. The film garnered significant critical praise, showcasing Nable’s compelling on-screen presence.

Most recently, Matthew Nable made his directorial debut with the 2023 film ‘Transfusion,’ a project he also wrote and starred in, further demonstrating his comprehensive talents behind and in front of the camera. Looking ahead, Nable will join the extended cast for the Netflix series ‘Apple Cider Vinegar’ in 2024, continuing to expand his diverse body of work across various platforms.
