Mecca Morgan-White

Mecca White was born in Los Angeles, California, on October 7, 1995. Her early immersion in the arts was facilitated by her mother, Persia White, and stepfather, Joseph Morgan, both recognized actors and filmmakers. This foundational environment cultivated her interest in film, music, and comedy. Mecca pursued formal education, graduating from The Los Angeles Film School in 2016 with a degree in Film/Cinema/Video Studies. She also attended the New York Film Academy and received training from The London Academy of Music and Dramatic Arts, The Groundlings, and the Sanford Meisner Center.

In 2016, Mecca Morgan-White wrote, directed, and starred in the comedic short film “Juice Truck.” The film was a significant early project showcasing her versatile capabilities. She also contributed to the short film “Carousel” in 2017, where she starred and worked as a crew member, under the direction of Joseph Morgan. Her acting credits include roles in “Take Back the Night” (2021) as The Party Bartender, “Dhar Mann” (2021) as Court Spectator 1, and “Girlfriends” (2002) as Savannah. Mecca’s work reflects a consistent engagement across various production roles, demonstrating her commitment to storytelling.

Her career trajectory highlights a progression from acting to encompassing directing, writing, and producing.
