American actress Meg DeLacy is known for her roles in television and films, including Woodstock or Bust, The Fosters and Stargirl.
DeLacy’s career started out with smaller parts in films such as The Blackout and television series Side Effects in 2013. She began to catch the eye of casting directors, landing recurring roles in both Recovery Road and The Disappearing Girl over the next few years. She continued to star in programmes such as Chicago PD, teen drama Zac and Mia, and family drama The Fosters. Her part in film Woodstock or Bust saw her nominated for Best Supporting Actress at the Ladymakers Film Festival in 2019, once again proving that she was a promising new talent on the scene. Other small roles followed for the young actress, and in 2020 it was announced she would star in her biggest role to date, as the villain Cindy Burman in DC Universe’s Stargirl. The highly anticipated new series is based on the DC comics and has shot DeLacy to fame, quickly building up her fan base and making her a household name.
Alongside her acting work, DeLacy is a YouTube star and uses her channel to post videos of her music, as well as covers of popular songs. She now has over 5k followers on the platform and over 100k followers on her Instagram page. Most recently, DeLacy has been cast in upcoming short film Rose, and looks set for a long and successful career.
