Anthony Clark

Named College Entertainer of the Year while pursuing his degree in mass communications, Anthony Clark graduated from Emerson College in 1986, launching his stand-up comedy career. He quickly became a recognized presence across renowned venues in Los Angeles, captivating audiences with his sharp wit and distinctive humor. His comedic prowess earned him a feature in an HBO young comedians special, hosted by Garry Shandling, in 1995. Clark then transitioned seamlessly into acting, making his mark in feature films such as Oakie in ‘Dogfight’ (1991), Billy in ‘The Thing Called Love’ (1993), and Paul the Hotel Barber in the high-profile action film ‘The Rock’ (1996) alongside Sean Connery and Nicolas Cage.

He also secured a recurring role on the popular ABC sitcom ‘Ellen’ from 1995 to 1996. Clark’s television career flourished with leading roles in several successful sitcoms. He starred as Boyd Pritchett in ‘Boston Common,’ a series that aired from 1996 to 1997, followed by his portrayal of Rev. Todd Tucker in ‘Soul Man’ from 1997 to 1998.
