Michel Fagner Lima Pereira, known professionally as Michel “Demolidor” Pereira, was born on October 6, 1993, in Tucumã, Pará, Brazil. His martial arts journey began at age 12 with karate, followed by Brazilian jiu-jitsu training from age 16. Pereira embarked on his professional mixed martial arts career in 2011, initially competing in regional promotions like 300 Sparta and achieving an early record of 9 wins and 3 losses. These formative years included victories over experienced fighters such as Daziel da Silva Jr. and Silmar Nunes. His early performances led to opportunities with larger promotions, including Jungle Fight and Xtreme Fighting Championships (XFC), where he showcased his evolving skillset.
His career progression saw him compete across various organizations, building a record of 16 wins and 8 losses before joining the Serbian Battle Championship (SBC) in 2017. There, he captured the vacant SBC Welterweight Championship, successfully defending it once. Pereira also made a significant impact in Road Fighting Championship (Road FC) in South Korea, demonstrating his striking power with multiple finishes.
