The incredibly versatile and funny actress and comedian Mo Collins, aka Maureen Ann Collins, became well-known for her fabulous portrayal of several characters in Fox’s sketch comedy series, MADtv. She most recently starred in a more dramatic role in AMC’s hit-horror series, Fear the Walking Dead.
Born and raised in Minneapolis, Collins showed an interest in acting, performing and making people laugh from a young age. She attended the Dudley Riggs Brave New Workshop in Minneapolis where she honed her improv and sketch-writing skills. After working in a number of theatre productions, as well as in commercials and a few films, including the festive family comedy, Jingle All The Way, opposite Arnold Schwarzenegger, she moved to Los Angeles to further her career. Within a year, she landed her big break when she was cast on MADtv in 1995. She has since gone on to appear in such shows as Arrested Development, Curb Your Enthusiasm, Lady Dynamite, and Parks and Recreation. She has also voiced characters on the hit animated comedy shows, Family Guy, and King of the Hill, and has featured in a number of movies, too, including The 40 Year-Old Virgin, with Steve Carell, and Knocked Up, with Seth Rogan.
Collins regularly connects with her legions of fans and followers through Instagram and Twitter, posting pictures and videos of her personal and professional life.
