Monica Danae Ricketts is an actor and musical theatre performer best known for her array of theatre work, particularly as lead roles in major musicals. She is also renowned for playing Disney Princesses both on stage and on screen. She has a large social media following with over 52,000 followers on her Instagram page, where she shares snippets of her daily life along with performance videos and posts about vintage fashion and princess costumes.

American-born Ricketts studied musical theatre at Western Nevada College and then went on to take a course in improv at the Groundlings in Los Angeles. Her fruitful musical theatre career has seen her play lead roles such as Ilse in Spring Awakening, Princess Fiona in Shrek the Musical, Ado Annie in Oklahoma!, Penny in Hairspray, and Kate Monster in Avenue Q.
