Hailing from Long Island, New York, Nancy Sirianni is a singer, songwriter, and actor with a wealth of experience across the entertainment industry. She has appeared on television and in the theatre and has released numerous albums with various bands. She has also opened for the likes of American Idol winner Taylor Hicks and her songs have appeared in the likes of National Lampoon’s One Two Many and MTV’s My Super Sweet 16 and MADE. She recently contributed a cover of Paul McCartney’s ‘Calico Skies’ to Let Us In Nashville, an album of the former Beatle’s songs released to raise money for Breast Cancer Awareness and in memory of his wife, Linda.
Sirianni’s acting roles have included Law & Order, a rite of passage for any self-respecting American actor, horror film Psycho Sisters, and dramas such as Pride & Loyalty and Urban Mythology. She made her on-screen debut back in 1990 playing Roxette in Ghoul School, a comedy send-up of horror B-movies. She has also made several appearances on TV shows hosted by legendary radio DJ Howard Stern.
Sirianni, however, is perhaps most closely associated with her music. Her band The Scoldees released two albums in the early-mid 2000s: My Pathetic Life and Nightcap World, the former winning praise from the likes of Billboard and Entertainment Today. The band also performed at Woodstock ’99, a 30th-anniversary re-staging of one of rock music’s defining moments. She currently performs under no fewer than four guises: as a solo artist, as a duo with Sirianni & Stein, and in two trios, Sirianni Banned and the Noble Rotten Trio.
