The suave Neil Jones is a professional dancer, choreographer, director, and presenter. He is a World, European, and British Champion, and is best known for his appearances on the BBC’s Strictly Come Dancing.
Born and raised in Germany to British military parents, Jones began dancing at the age of three, learning ballet, tap, modern, ballroom, and Latin styles. He has gone on to represent Finland, the Netherlands and the UK during the course of his competitive career, and in 2008 was introduced at Blackpool with his dance partner Katya Jones. The couple went on to marry and became 4x British National Champions, and 3x World Amateur Latin Champions.
Jones made his TV debut on series 14 of the BBC’s Strictly Come Dancing in 2016, and has gone on to appear in a further two series, 17 and 19, as well as on Children in Need, and he also took part in the national Strictly Come Dancing – The Live Tour in 2017. He has also directed and choreographed and starred in a number of dance shows.
Jones regularly connects with his hundreds of thousands of followers and fans through Instagram, TikTok, and Facebook, posting pictures and videos of his life around dance.
