Nina Defilla
Nina Defilla is a popular Swiss/Canadian travel vlogger whose passion for the outdoors and hiking have helped to build a large social media following, including over 65,000 Instagram followers, 11,000 TikTok followers, and 1,500 YouTube subscribers. She also keeps a blog on her website where she records her travels, which with all the restrictions in place over recent years, have mainly been in and around her home in British Columbia. As well as indulging her own passion for travel, Defilla also hopes to inspire others to fulfil their travel dreams.
Defilla launched her YouTube channel in 2016, however it is only since the pandemic that her videos have caught on—perhaps fuelled by lockdown-inspired wanderlust and people looking for backpacking advice as the world slowly reopens. As well as capturing her travels, Defilla provides plenty of advice on what any aspiring backpacker should pack for their trip and, just as importantly, how to pack it. Instagram, however, is where she currently most popular. Her account is regularly updated with stunning views and selfies that document her trips among of the most breathtaking scenery our planet has to offer.
