Spain Omar Ayuso is a Spanish actor and director known for his leading role in the hit Netflix series 'Elite'.
Prada utilized Ayuso as the face of their Paradigme fragrance campaign, aligning with the brand's objective to redefine modern masculinity by featuring diverse personalities.
Ayuso starred in Calvin Klein's Global Pride Campaign, a continuation of the #proudinmycalvins movement, which celebrated defining moments in the queer and trans journey. Calvin Klein also announced a two-year partnership with The Trevor Project in conjunction with this campaign.

Omar Ayuso was born on March 26, 1998, in Madrid, Spain, and was raised in Manzanares el Real. From a young age, inspired by the film ‘Bad Education’, he developed an interest in acting and filmmaking. He pursued his passion by studying audiovisual communication at Charles III University of Madrid.
Ayuso gained international recognition in 2018 for his role as Omar Shanaa in the Netflix series ‘Elite’. In this role, he portrayed a closeted gay Muslim character, a performance for which he worked with director Ramón Salazar for two months to prepare. The on-screen relationship between his character and Ander Muñoz, played by Arón Piper, garnered significant global attention, leading to a large following on social media. Beyond ‘Elite’, Ayuso has expanded his work into short films, including ‘Maras’, ‘Ráfagas de vida salvaje’, and ‘Disseminare’ in 2019. He also appeared in Rosalía’s music video for ‘Juro Que’ in 2020 and is set to star as David in the upcoming film ‘8 Años’, a gay drama exploring an eight-year relationship.
Ayuso has utilized his platform to advocate for LGBT visibility and social progress, despite facing homophobic commentary. He has consistently supported causes related to feminism, LGBT rights, and anti-racism. His career continues to evolve with upcoming projects in both acting and directing, establishing him as a multifaceted talent in the Spanish entertainment industry.
