Omar Ayuso is a Spanish actor and director known for his leading role in the hit Netflix series ‘Elite’. After gaining international recognition in 2018 for his leading role as Omar Shanaa in the hit Netflix series ‘Elite’, Omar Ayuso quickly established himself as a prominent talent. For his critically acclaimed portrayal of a closeted gay Muslim character, Ayuso underwent extensive two-month preparation with director Ramón Salazar. The on-screen relationship between his character and Ander Muñoz, played by Arón Piper, garnered significant global attention, leading to a substantial international social media following.

Prior to this breakthrough, Ayuso pursued a strong foundation in his craft, studying audiovisual communication at Charles III University of Madrid.
