Showbiz Spitfire Paige Turner, hailed as the Holly Golightly of drag, is a staple in the New York drag scene. Her many talents include everything from singing and comedy to acting and hosting. As 2 time winner of the Glam Award the blonde bombshell has well and truly made her place at the top of the game.
Daniel Frank Kelley created Paige Turner in 2006, the illegitimate love child of fictional characters Pee Wee Herman and Barbie. The drag star is certainly every bit as beautiful as her fictional mom. Paige is one of the original creators, producers and hosts of So You Think You Can Drag at the New World Stages in Manhattan. Her YouTube channel is full of hilarious parodies including music videos by Carly Rae Jepson for Call Me Maybe and One Direction for What Makes You Beautiful. The comedian also has a parody of the Muppets Rainbow Connection entitled the Grindr Connection, which was the winner of the 2015 Glam Award for Best Music Video.
The Showbiz Spitfire even has her own catch phrase, Slurp!, also the name of her long-running variety show at the Therapy Lounge in Manhattan, and now a long line of merchandise as well. In 2015 Paige hosted the original LGBT Expo as well as headlining the 1st Annual Austin International Drag Festival. As a host she has worked with the absolute best including Sony, Coca-Cola, Netflix, Bravo and The Gap to name just a few. Paige has toured internationally many times with her sung one woman shows, such as the hilariously fabulous Drag Me To The Top.
