Ravichandran Ashwin

Ravichandran Ashwin, a globally acclaimed cricketer, is recognized for his prolific spin bowling and contributions as a lower-order batsman, offering brands a partnership with a highly respected and strategic sports figure. After his impactful performances in the 2010 Indian Premier League for Chennai Super Kings, where his economical bowling was crucial to their title win, Ravichandran Ashwin made his international debut in June 2010 in the limited-overs formats. His professional journey began with a first-class debut for Tamil Nadu in December 2006, later captaining the team to victory in the Vijay Hazare Trophy in 2008-09. Ashwin debuted for Chennai Super Kings in 2009 and was named Player of the Tournament in the 2010 Champions League Twenty20.

In recent years, Ashwin continued to achieve significant milestones, becoming the fastest Indian bowler to reach 400 Test wickets in 2021 and again being named to the ICC Men’s Test Team of the Year for 2021. In 2022, he surpassed Kapil Dev as India’s second-highest wicket-taker in Test cricket. His prolific career saw him achieve his 500th Test wicket in 2024, the same year he played his 100th Test match. Ravichandran Ashwin announced his retirement from all forms of international cricket on December 18, 2024, leaving a distinguished legacy as one of the most prolific and tactically astute spinners of all time, and is slated to be awarded the Padma Shri in 2025.
